A vein is a vessel that is blood from the body tissue of the heart. The body has two distinct systems of veins, superficial and deep system. The system consists of superficial veins that are close to the skin. These blood vessels can often hand in their arms or legs, possibly more important during exercise. The system is in a vein deep in the muscles of the body. Both systems are connected by the small veins of the transition. The body regulates the amount of blood caused by the two systems as a means to closely monitor the core body temperature. (More heat is lost when the blood circulates through the system shallow.) Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a disease in which a blood clot (thrombus) forms in a deep vein system.

A varicocele is dilated veins that occur in the scrotum.
